Village officials have been working diligently to expand broadband access for all Village residents, businesses and property owners, and to that end the Village Board authorized the expenditure of the funds required for Bertram Communications to install a high-speed broadband network system throughout the entire Village.

At this time we are asking that all Village property owners consider signing up for a "conduit drop" to their property. By doing this you will ensure that it is possible to gain access to faster internet services and help demonstrate the demand for this service, thereby ensuring its sustainability and the provision of future enhancements for years to come. ALL THE "CONDUIT DROPS" WILL BE COVERED BY THE FUNDING THAT WAS APPROVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD; BUT THE DEADLINE FOR SIGNING UP FOR THEM IS DECEMBER 31, 2024.

Once you've gained access to the website the first step in the sign up process is to click on the ‘Sign Up Here’ tab. Then you must fill out all the required information on the Customer Details and Location tabs, click the 'Next' button when required, and under ‘Services and Contracts’, pull down the arrow by 'Services Available' and choose the type of service you would prefer. If you are not interested in committing to any particular service at this time then you must select ‘Right of entry – no service’, and follow the remaining instructions. 

The village has requested paper sign up forms, but at this time no such forms are available.

If you live on a private road or are a member of a Homeowner's or Condo Association, please contact Sara or Kassie from Bertram at [email protected] to dicuss the procedures that will have to be adhered to to ensure that you have access to the new broadband services.
