The Village has established a number of rules and regulations regarding remodeling and new construction, most of which require Building Permits, and has contracted with Brett Guilette of Inspection Specialists, LLC to issue Building Permits and conduct inspections for all residential and some commercial construction projects.
To obtain a Building Permit or schedule an inspection please contact Brett. He holds office hours at the Administration Building on Wednesday mornings from 11:00am to noon.

Large Commercial Project Plan Review & Approval Services
E-Plan Exam

Large Commercial Projects Requiring State Plan Review & Approval.
Oftentimes if State plan review is required on large commercial projects, it can take up to twelve weeks to receive the required approvals. The Village has now contracted with E-Plan Exam, a company that offers expedited State-approved plan review services. If that company is utilized related fees will be charged, but it is quite likely that the required documentation will be provided within one to two weeks.
