State and local parking regulations are enforced in the Village. If you are the recipient of a parking citation and wish to contest it, you must appear in Door County Circuit Court on the date listed on your citation. If, on the other hand, you do not wish to contest your citation, you can satisfy the matter by paying $25.00 to the Village Clerk on or before the Court date. You may pay the penalty in person at the Village Administration Building between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday, or you can mail a personal check or money order in the self-addressed envelope which is attached to the citation.
Please keep the fact in mind that failure to respond to a parking citation will result in the suspension of the registration for the vehicle which is the subject of the citation.
